I will be back for my 5th year speaking at the DMA national events. This year I am speaking about the “Revenue Imperative” that is transforming marketing roles. We have conducted primary research across multiple industries and have found that over 50% of marketers now hold a revenue objective as part of their compensation plans.
This revenue imperative is a new reality for many marketers and is fundamentally changing the working relationships between marketing and sales as well as Marketing and the IT organizations. New SLA’s are being developed and the C-Suite have new levels of revenue expectation from the CMO and the entire marketing organization.
